The Haibao robots that can speak several languages and pose in different positions were very popular during the Shanghai World Expo. Since Nov. 18, over 20 Haibao robots will be on free exhibition for a week at the Zhejiang Science and Technology Museum.
The Haibao robot, developed by Zhejiang University and Supcon Research Co. Ltd, is 1.55 meters tall and weighs 87 kg. Shaped after the Shanghai Expo mascot, it is a type of service robot with advanced artificial intelligence. It integrates advanced technologies such as the acquisition of various sensor signals, control of joint movements, human face detection and recognition, voice recognition, positioning, and navigation.
