At the invitation of relevant parties, a delegation headed by Lu Zushan, vice-secretary of CPC Zhejiang Provincial Committee and governor of Zhejiang, left on the afternoon of October 28 for a visit to the U.S., Fiji and Indonesia.
During their visit, the delegation will observe the condition of economic and social development in New Jersey and Indiana in the U.S., Fiji, and Banten in Indonesia, hold talks with government officials and heads of the relevant departments, and promote the friendly relationship between Zhejiang and the destinations concerned. During the visit, a lot of activities will be held including Zhejiang-U.S. Medium and Small-size Enterprises Cooperation Week, China Zhejiang-Indonesia Banten Economic and Trade Exchange, opening ceremony of Zhejiang Famous Brands (Indonesia) Exhibition Center, a visit to NASDAQ Stock Market, IBM, Goldman Sachs, University of Indiana and other enterprises and higher education institutions, thus enhancing the exchange and cooperation between Zhejiang and the three countries in economy and trade, science and technology, culture, tourism, education, environmental protection and many other fields.
