On the morning of November 21, the Zhejiang Provincial Federation of Taiwan Compatriots celebrated its 30th anniversary in Hangzhou. Xia Baolong, vice secretary of CPC Zhejiang Provincial Committee, and Liang Guoyang, president of the All-China Federation of Taiwan Compatriots, attended the meeting and gave speeches.
In the past 30 years, the Zhejiang Provincial Federation of Taiwan Compatriots has adhered to the tenet of Friendship, Unity and Service , acted successfully as a bridge between the Party and governments and the Taiwan compatriots, focused on the central task and served the overall interests, helped Taiwan compatriots out readily, carried out extensive exchanges with Taiwan, offered advice and suggestions, and participated in the deliberation and administration of state affairs, thus promoting the reform and modernization of Zhejiang Province and contributing generously to the peaceful reunification of China.
Five people were commended in recognition of their outstanding performance in the establishment of the Zhejiang Provincial Federation of Taiwan Compatriots at the meeting.
