It is revealed from Hangzhou Customs that in November the import value of Zhejiang province has reached 6.82 billon US dollars with a year-on-year increase of 49.6%, hitting a record high in monthly import. The statistics also show that in the first 11 months of 2010, the import value of our province has totaled 65.45 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 33.6%.
According to relevant statistics, in the first 11 months of this year, the total value of import and export in our province has amounted to 229.5 billion US dollars with a year-on-year increase of 36.3%, thus matching the national average growth rate after having lagged behind it for eight consecutive months starting from this March.
The growth momentum of import value has also helped balance the structure of import and export in Zhejiang province. Mechanical and electrical products, hi-tech products, scrap metals and farm products are the top four on the list of import in Zhejiang province, each showing fast growth rate.
