According to an agreement signed recently by Jianshan New District of Haining City and Zhejiang Special Equipment Inspection and Research Institute, it has become official that the National Elevator Quality Control and Inspection Center will settle in Jianshan New District, Haining city.
The Yangtze River Delta is an important production base of elevator and elevator components in China. Latest statistics issued by the Quality and Technical Supervision Bureau of Zhejiang Province show that, in 2009, the elevator industry in the Yangtze River Delta created 60% of the national output value of elevators and 70% of the national output value of elevator components, thus becoming an important industrial cluster of the elevator industry in China.
