Provincial leaders met with members from Hong Kong, Macao and overseas and co-opt members of the Committee for Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Compatriots and Overseas Chinese who attended the Fourth Session of the Tenth Zhejiang Provincial CPPCC Committee on the afternoon of January 17th in Zhejiang People s Great Hall to renew friendship in hometown and deliberate on development plans.

Provincial leaders Zhao Hongzhu, Lv Zushan, Zhou Guofu, Qiao Chuanxiu and Xia Baolong attended the meeting.

Zhao Hongzhu firstly extended his welcome and gratitude towards the members on behalf of CPC Provincial Committee, Standing Committee of the Provincial People s Congress, the provincial Government, and the Provincial CPPCC Committee. He said the achievements Zhejiang made in the economic and social development during the Eleventh Five-Year Plan are closely intertwined with the whole-hearted consideration and support of the members from Hong Kong, Macao and overseas. 2011 is the beginning year of the Twelfth Five-Year Plan. He hoped that each member will maintain their concern and support for the Zhejiang s development as ever, cherish deep feelings for their hometown render assistance to their hometown during self-development, strive to make their business in Zhejiang bigger and stronger, actively introduce into Zhejiang tip-top projects, advanced technology and high-level talents, offer invaluable insights and advice and put in concerted efforts to speed up the restructuring and upgrading of Zhejiang economy, put into play the unique advantage of extensive relationship and unobstructed channels to pave the way for Zhejiang products and enterprises to go abroad and for Zhejiang businessmen and capital to go to the world, carry forward the fine tradition of loving their motherland, exert their influence, and set an example to promote the great cause of the reunification of the motherland.
