Two special service stamps with the theme of Liangzhu jade objects, which represent a high level of ancient Chinese civilization, will be issued on March 8 by China Post. Each of the stamps has a face value of 1.2 yuan. The two jade objects to be on the stamps are a jade cong and a jade bi, the best representations of the Liangzhu Culture. Liangzhu jade objects are the most important representatives of the Liangzhu Culture. They are abundant in amount, rich in pattern, superb in craftsmanship, delicate in design and profound in their influence. They are the only ones of its kind from the late New Stone Age in China. Liangzhu jade objects to be printed on special service stamps as a national business card are to fully represent the essence of the Liangzhu Culture.
