Africa becomes an emerging market for export of Taizhou

In January and February, the exporting volume between Taizhou and Africa reached USD 66.95 million with a growth rate of 326%, which increased most among all the markets. According to Taizhou Municipal Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, Taizhou's enterprises need to improve the quality of products in order to win markets in Africa.

It is introduced that there have been over 100 enterprises of Taizhou trading with Africa, such as Liberia, South Africa, Egypt and Nigeria. The main products involving in the exports included ship, machine, electron, textile and steel. Among all the countries, Liberia becomes the largest exporting market of Taizhou in Africa with an exporting volume of USD 330 million in 2010.
