City leaders visited the disabled

Yesterday afternoon, Wang Xinan, mayor of Jiangyin and the other leaders are warmly talking with the disabled Xu Wenjie in Sanyuan village of Xiagang District.

May 16 of this year is 20th Nationwide Day to Help the Disabled. Yesterday afternoon, city leaders Zhu Minyang, Wang Xinan, Wu Chongdi, Huang Manzhong, Zhao Guoquan, and Qian Wenqin respectively visited parts of the disabled in our city, and gave them the fresh flower and consolation money.

City leaders Zhu Minyang, Wu Chongdi and Qian Wenqin first came to the disabled He Deru s home. 45 year-old He Deru, suffering from polio paralysis in bed long-term, was taken care of by his parents. With the increasing eldest mother, his sister often came back to look after him. Luckily, He Deru and his mother were enjoying subsistence allowances, severe disability benefits for these years, for every month more than RMB 600. Zhu Minyang gave the fresh flower and subsistence allowance to He Deru. Zhu Minyang required the followed leaders to further improve the social security system. And then Zhu Minyang and the other leaders came to visit the disabled Liu Yiwei in Nanzha community of Nanzha district.

City leaders Wang Xinan, Huang Manzhong, and Zhao Guoquan visited two disabled families. Then Wang Xinan and the other leaders came to the disabled Xu Wenjie s company Jiangyin Yuantong Commodity Limited company. In 1995, Xu Wenjie suffered traffic accident resulting to be a disabled, but he didn t give up and his company generally became larger and larger. Until the year of 2009, the total value of his company had reached about RMB 16 million. Xu Wenjie has been supporting the tuition of Fan Zhongming s children. Wang Xinan asked about the company's production and operation in detail, and showed gratitude to programs for public good Xu Wenjie had done. He said that the party and the government would continue to support his enterprise development, and wish his enterprises become bigger and stronger, to contribute to Jiangyin s economic development.
