Stem cell is called "Universal Cell" for its universal functions. Funicle and cord blood of the newborn are rich in stem cells, especially the mesenchymal stem cells contained in funicle can be used not only in hemopoiesis, but also in the treatment of over 100 diseases, such as cardiovascular diseases, cirrhosis, senile dementia and lupus erythematosus.

It is acknowledged that the stem cells bank of Beike is divided into two parts, the public part and the private part. The public part stores the stems cells from volunteers for free, which can be used by others. And the private part stores the stem cells form private families with certain charges. According to international practice, the stem cells can only be stored for 22 years, but longer in theory.
