Big contract signed in 2010 Jiangyin Cultural Industry development negotiation meeting

Cultural development was playing an important role in promoting happy Jiangyin transformation and upgrade. Yesterday afternoon, Jiangyin city held 2010 Jiangyin Cultural Industry development negotiation meeting in Beijing. At the meeting, there were 35 projects successfully reached agreement with total investment of 5.1449 billion yuan. Among which, there were 20 projects singed on live with a total investment of 4.3578 billion yuan. Projects were involved in video production, animation industry, cultural and tourism, creative design, large games, and cinema lines.

Li Xiaolei, deputy director of Ministry of Cultural Industry and city leaders Zhu Minyang, Sun Xiaohu, Xu Dongqing, and Gong Zhendong attended the negotiation meeting. Zhu Minyang, member of Wuxi Municipal Committee and Party Secretary of Jiangyin made welcome speech. Xu Dongqing, member of Wuxi Municipal Committee and director of Public Affairs Bureau made report on promotion of Jiangyin cultural industry. Gong Zhendong, deputy mayor presided over the meeting. On the negotiation meeting, it attracted more than 220 experts, scholars and enterprises from Britain, America, Japan, Hongkong, Beijing, Shanghai, Hunan, Jiangsu, Guangzhou and Shengzhen.

In recent years, Jiangyin has always kept the mind of developing cultural industry, upgrading culture strengths as important strategic role in promoting industrial and city transformation, therefore, culture industry has won long-term development, and add value in culture industry has increased 40% in GDP comparing to last year. Last year, Jiangyin went to Beijing to attract cultural investment, and it attracted lots of experts in this field to invest in Jiangyin cultural industry by platform building, feature advantages and service measures. There were 20 projects have been launched among the projects signed last year, which gave new driving force to the development of Jiangyin cultural industry.

This year, Jiangyin headed to Beijing on purpose of seeking new cooperation opportunities. It was learnt that projects successfully singed were involved in video production, animation industry, culture and tourism and creative design. Among which, as the main battlefield for building Jiangyin cultural industry park , Jiangyin economic development zone has signed 9 projects with more than 2 billion yuan amounted half of total projects. The opening of 19th China Gold Rooster and Hundreds of Flowers Film Festival firstly held in town level city Jiangyin also gave great supports to the investment in animation industry, video production, and cultural industry. Non-developed concepts in Jiangyin also explore the cultural development platform, China Children Film Happy Valley, China Xu Xiake Medical Culture Display Park, China Jiangyin International Climbing Project. Shanxi Culture Enjoyment Park would be settled down in non-developed zone.

"A successful city is a city with profound culture. Zhu said in his speech, Jiangyin worked soft index as hard task, which was cultural awareness in devoting high intensive awareness. On one side, Jiangyin always kept the cultural awareness as wide cultural level, persistent cultural pursuit, system and mechanism reform, and strong supports from government, which gave strong developing force in cultural development. On the other side, Jiangyin provided hard index for cultural soft products , which generalized cultural construction assessment index in scientific development.
