From November 4th to November 12th, led by Zhu Minyang, the Secretary of Jiangyin Municipal Party Committee, the Jiangyin delegation of economy and trade visited Japan and carried out some activities on economy and trade, focusing on transformation development of Jiangyin and the construction of non-developed areas.
On November 4th, on arriving in Osaka, the delegation attended a meeting on the development of advanced manufacturing industry of Jiangyin and Osaka. Zhu Minyang said that Jiangyin would depend on functional carriers, such as the bonded logistics centers, to further expand existing harbor and open more ship routes to Japan. Besides, Jiangyin will strengthen the talents support to economy and social development to improve the flexible talent pool and attract more retired Japanese engineers to Jiangyin.
On November 10th, the delegation attended a meeting on deepening the cooperation between Jiangyin and Niigata. At the meeting, the participants discussed heatedly on some issues and the discussion made good effects. Besides, they listened to a report on the introduction of the development of non-developed areas in Jiangyin. Zhu Minyang delivered an ebullient speech at the meeting.
During the stay in Japan, the delegation also visited and communicated with mayors of Fujioka and Niigata, and some other government officials. This visit helped to push forward the cooperation between Jiangyin and several cities of Japan.
