On November 22nd, Mayor of Jiangyin Wang Xinan met with Oscar Temaru, President of French Polynesia legislative assembly and Mayor of FAAA, and other visitors from Polynesia. Wang Xinan introduced the development of economy and society in Jiangyin to these Polynesian guests. Ji Jun, a member of Jiangyin Municipal CPC Standing Committee and Deputy Mayor, also joined them.
At the signing ceremony of sistership between FAAA and Jiangyin, representatives of the 2 cities signed the Memorandum on the Sistership between FAAA and Jiangyin. They approved to develop friendly communication on all kinds of aspects in future, such as tourism, culture, education, society, medical care, sports, scientific research and economic development, on the basis of equality and mutual benefit, in order to boost economic cooperation of industry and commerce, and enterprises.
