On the afternoon of February 24th, Jiangyin Economic Development Zone (Shenzhen) Investment Promotion Conference on Development of Strategic Emerging Industries was held. At the conference, 21 projects with a total investment of RMB 3 billion were signed successfully, involving service outsourcing, biomedicine, new sensor, cultural creativity and other fields.
Zhu Minyang, a member of Wuxi Municipal CPC Standing Committee and Secretary of Jiangyin Municipal Party Committee, and Sun Xiaohu, a member of Jiangyin Municipal CPC Standing Committee, Deputy Secretary of Work and Party Committee and Vice Director of management Committee of Jiangyin Economic Development Zone, attended the meeting, as well as over 280 entrepreneurs and leading talents of emerging industries in Pearl River Delta.
Zhu Minyang introduced the development program of Jiangyin for the "12th Five-Year Plan" in order to take the lead in realizing modernization. The first is to improve the people's livelihood by expanding their sources of income. The second is to build a pattern of developing Jiangyin to boost the development of emerging industries depending on talents and technology. The third is to improve city function to strengthen the cohesion inwards and competitiveness outwards. The fourth is to promote the construction of non-developed regions to realize sustainable development. The fifth is to improve the quality of citizens to create a positive and harmonious environment for economic and social development.
Zhu Minyang put forward his hope that the participants would promote cooperation with Jiangyin according to the five aspects. Jiangyin will push forward the new idea on transformation, "entrepreneur + scientist + financier = winner", and provide convenience for investors come to Jiangyin.
