Taipei, Jan. 4, 2011 CENS --Acer Inc. of Taiwan, the largest PC vendor in Taiwan and a major global PC brand, recently claimed to have won four prizes at the 2011 iF Product Design Awards, the so-called Design Oscars .
The iF product design awards cover all areas of product design. The entries are judged on numerous criteria including design workmanship, choice of material, environmental compatibility and functionality. Of this year`s 2,756 products from 1,121 contestants submitted from 43 countries, Taiwan won 93 prizes, the highest number ever.
