Switzerland and Zhongshan seek more co-op in environmental protection industry

Vice mayor Feng Yurong met with Mr. and Mrs. Ulrich Hunn on 25th. Mr. Ulrich Hunn, Consul General of Switzerland in Guangzhou who has assumed office for only three months, was invited to pay this visit to Zhongshan. Both sides made a deep exchange of ideas on how to strengthen the friendly ties and economic co-op. It was learned that in 1999, ABB Group, one of the World Top 500, invested in Nanlang Town to set up ABB Zhongshan Transformer Co., Ltd. in 1999. Now there are 7 Switzerland-based companies, involving in medical supplies, textile machinery, optical equipment, power equipment, electronic equipment, plastic sheet and electronic control box, making investment in Zhongshan
