The first pilot terminal devices of the "Guangzhou E-guiding System" for the Asian Games will be put into use at major tourist attractions in Guangzhou during the Asian Games period, including Lingnan Impression Garden, Yuexiu Park and the Chen Clan Academy. The E-guiding System works as a senior "guide", providing all around travel information for food, accommodations, travel, shopping and entertainment.
The E-guiding System utilizes network info services such as Guangzhou Tour Guide, Auto-guide, Asian Games Videos, Asian Games-dedicated Network, Real-time Road Conditions, E-map, E-ticketing, CMMB, E-books, UCWEB and Internet Explorer. Tourists can use it to book discount tickets of the tourist attractions and receive other information through wireless WiFi services.
