The Chief Executive of Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) Chui Sai On will attend the Sixth Pan- Pearl River Delta (PPRD) Regional Co-operation and Development Forum and Economic and Trade Co-operation Fair in Fuzhou, the SAR government said on Thursday (Aug 26).
Leading an official delegation, Chui will depart for Fuzhou, capital of China's Fujian province, on Friday.
Co-organized by Fujian, Jiangxi, Hunan, Guangdong, Guangxi, Hainan, Sichuan, Guizhou, Yunnan, the Hong Kong SAR and the Macao SAR, the PPRD event will be held between August 27 and 29.
Chui will attend the opening ceremony of the exhibition hall and signing ceremony on Saturday, and delivered a speech at a session of the forum on the same day.
Members of Macao's delegation include the SAR's Secretary for Economy and Finance Tam Pak Yuen, and more than 15 senior officials from different departments of the SAR government.
