Professor Tu Shandong, Vice President of ECUST and Professor Baker, Vice President of University of Idaho introduced to each other the basic profiles of their universities in terms of the discipline settings, research areas and international cooperation and exchanges, and they also exchanged views on how to strengthen future cooperation.
After in-depth discussion, they reached consensus on faculty and student exchanges and scientific research cooperation in areas of biological engineering, resources and environment and business. Based upon the consensus, they signed a memorandum of cooperation, under the guidance of which substantive cooperation is to be carried out.
