The international symposium on Postmodernism and Marxism - Dialogue and Exchanges was held during October 17 and 18, 2008 at Fudan. The symposium was co-hosted by School of Philosophy, the Research Platform of Foreign Marxist Studies and Center for Contemporary Marxism Studies.
French philosopher, editor-in-chief of Marxism Today, chairman of Congress Marx International Jacques Bidet and renowned Italian Marxist political philosopher, professor of Universit de Vincennes (Paris-VIII) Antonio Negri attended the seminar, together with famous Chinese scholars and experts in the field of Post-modernism including Liu Fang-tung, Yu Wujin, Wu Xiaoming, and a group of young and emerging scholars.
