On Jan 14th,2011, doctor Julian P.Chang, executive director of Rajawali Foundation Institute for Asia, the Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University paid a visit to NCEPU by request.
At first,Li Chengrong, Vice President of NCEPU extended a warm welcome to Director Julian P. Chang, and then Liu Yongqian, Director of the International Cooperation Office and Niu Dongxiao, President of the Business and Management School gave a brief introduction to NCEPU and main research areas of the Business and Management School respectively. Later, the two parties reached cooperation intent in many aspects after a thorough consultation in such areas as academic research, exchange visits between teachers, postgraduate cultivation and advanced training. Since Liu Liwei, associate professor of Business and Management School had just ended the academic visit in John F. Kennedy School of Government and Zhao Erdong will be assigned there as a visiting scholar soon, NCEPU and Harvard University has started substantive cooperation in academic exchange, and will establish multilevel and multidirectional cooperation in other aspects in the future.
