Delegation of AAA visits Shanghai Medical College

Fudan, Oct. 28: The Delegation of American Association of Anatomists visited Shanghai Medical College lately, at the invitation of Prof. Zhou Guomin, Chairmen of Shanghai Association of Anatomists. David Burr, President of AAA, Vice-president Kathryn Jones and General-secretary Richard Drake were in the delegation, together with whom were Prof. Kurt Albertine and Gary Schoenwolf, Chief-editor of two professional journals on Anatomists in the U.S.A.
The delegation delivered excellent speeches in the Auditorium of Mingdao Building. Prof. Xuchen and Dr. Liang Chunmin presided the conference. Prof. Peng Yuwen expressed his warm welcome to the delegation, stating that their visit would be beneficial to the exchange and cooperation between AAA, Shanghai Association of Anatomists and Shanghai Medical College. David Burr, President of AAA, expressed his gratitude to Shanghai Medical College. He also stated that both sides should cooperate and exchange views in many more aspects. Prof. Kathryn Jones of Loyola University and Prof. Kurt H. Albertine from Utah University delivered speeches on CD4+T cell-mediated neuroprotection: relevance to motoneuron injury and ALS Best practice for submitting a manuscript to The Anatomical Record: An Editor s Perspective respectively. Over 100 teachers and masters' and doctors' degree candidates from Shanghai Medical College, SHSMU, SMMU, Tongji University and SHUTCM attended the conference.
