Fudan, Oct. 22: School of Economics held the "Alumni Summit" lately, discussing the difficulties facing China and exploring ways of further development, on the occasion of reviewing the past 30 years since China implemented the Openning and Reform Policy.

"It is not just a get-together of old classmates, but also a focus on the present situation of the world economy", as Ms. Zhang said in her speech, alumni of the School took the way back to the mother university with the view of exploring a better way for the development of China economy. Mr. Hong Yuan-peng, former Dean of the School, appreciated the great contribution of the alumni in their respective field. Mr. Hou Yuan-ze, Director of Office of International Cooperation, China Development Bank, analyzed the reason of the present financial crisis with a macro approach and stated that China should learn from it, especially in the financial inspection.
