Fudan, Oct. 24: The program What is the Role of MicroRNA in the Transition from Latent to Activated Tuberculosis? proposed by Prof. Gao Qian, Fudan University, was listed as one of the total 104 programs supported by Grand Challenges Exploration.
The Grand Challenges Exploration was funded by Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, aiming at encouraging the scientists around the world to explore innovative ideas that could lead to new vaccines, diagnostics, drugs and other technologies targeting diseases that claim millions of lives every year or new appoaches to filling critical gaps in knowledge, by supporting early-stage research projects.
