Professor LI Dingguo, chief physician in Xinhua Hospital of Shanghai, presented a lecture on how to live a healthy life at Fudan-Cisco Alumni Forum on August 30 in the school.

Professor LI has nearly 20 years of experiences in the field of digestive diseases research and medical practice.
He shared with school alumni on his expertise on how to keep balance between work and individual health from four aspects of food, physical exercises, lifestyle and psychological comfort, which he claimed to be four major parts of foundation in deciding the level of health quality.
He suggested that healthy food like walnuts, peanuts, spinach and leek should be taken more by the people whose jobs put on higher demands on the intensity of brainwork.
In regard to physical exercises, Professor LI indicated that each of the alumni should spend a regular period of time on walk every day, so as to build up a stronger physical body.
Also, a good lifestyle with no smoking and little alcohol, as well as a psychological balance, can benefit them for long, it was added.
