Recently, Mr. Marc Eric Louis Kohen, Counsellor (Cultural and Educational, Walllonne Region) in Embassy of Belgium in China, and his wife, Ms. Christine Simon, PR Consultant of Embassy of Belgium, paid a visit to CUC s European Media Research Center. They had a further exploration about the cooperation possibility of disciplines such as journalism and communication, etc., between the public and private universities in Belgium and CUC.
The two sides had discussed the cases about providing scholarships to CUC s students, mutual cultivation and sending interns to each school, etc., and exchanged opinions concerning the development of tripartite cooperation including Communication University of China(CUC), Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) and ESJ (Ecole sup rieure de journalisme de Lille). Vice-Professor Xu Tiebing from the International Politics Research Center, CUC, attended the discussion.
Besides, D.TERUGGI, Dean of Research Department, INA Institut national de laudiovisuel , and his wife, had visited CUC recently . They had discussed with Liu Chang, Dean of European Media Research Center, about details of how to make the intercollegiate exchange agreement into reality. The two sides had had a discussion on promoting the mutual cultivation of Master Degree Candidate, student exchanges for internship, mutual establishment of research projects, joint publication, jointly running seminars, etc.. They wished that they could develop a substantial cooperation concerning the cooperation projects mentioned above. In 2006, President Su Zhiwu had signed an intercollegiate cooperation & communication agreement with INA, when he was invited to visit France.
