Fosun Pharma Won the Best CSR Report Award

A Summit Forum of A-shares Listed Enterprise Responsibility Report in the topic of Contemporary Status of Enterprise Social Responsibility was held in Beijing recently. Enterprise Social Responsibility Report 2008 of Fosun Pharmaceutical Group was awarded the Best Corporate Social Responsibility Report in Biological Pharmaceutical Industry 2009 , report score ranks the No. 1 in biological pharmaceutical industry and top ten in the annual overall rating.

Li Haifeng, President of Fosun Group, Chief Representative of Beijing Office, was invited to attend round-table forum, together with the representatives from Shanghai Pudong Development Bank (SPDB), the State Grid, Minsheng Bank, Ping An Insurance (Group), SINOPEC, China Construction Bank, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, China Shenhua Energy (CSEC), Alibaba and other 50 enterprises, shared the practices and performances of Fosun Group's Enterprise Social Responsibility.

This forum is jointly hosted by Running & Loving Career Consulting (RLCCW), Det Norske Veritas (DNV) and China Social Entrepreneur Foundation (Youcheng), and A-shares listed Enterprise Social Responsibility Report Blue Book (2009) was released in the forum.

Running & Loving Career Consulting (RLCCW) evaluates the enterprise responsibility repot for more than 400 A-shares listed companies according to MCT-CSR report evaluation system, in which, the enterprise responsibility report firstly published by Fosun Pharmaceutical Group gaining high score 61.05, not only ranking the first in biological pharmaceutical industry, but also ranking the tenth of the 371 reports in the annual overall rating.

The evaluate result of Running & Loving Career Consulting (RLCCW) shows that, Fosun Pharma enterprise responsibility report reflected Fosun Pharma developed new products, new technology, new services, to meet related demands of sustainable development; the result indicated the efforts Fosun Pharma made to sustainable development of pharmaceutical industry; the result also truly reflected the development and performance of Fosun Pharmaceutical Group Enterprise Social Responsibility in 2008, and displayed operating situation to related stakeholder, which enables shareholders, partners and employee know well about the practice of Fosun Pharma Enterprise Social Responsibility, and revealed to social public about the measurement and performance of Fosun Pharmaceutical taken in strategic development, economic responsibility, environment protection, employee development and public welfare. The disclosure of the stakeholders opinion showed the volition of stakeholders, and ensured the substantiality of the report; carried out transparent comparison by reference of GRI3.0 Criteria; and enhanced the credibility and transparency of report through such the third party independent evaluation,.
