Joseph Mwango:Tasly 15th Anniversary celebrations in China

Starting off from my own country, I had a lot of expectations about how the Tasly 15th Anniversary would be celebrated. The long awaited for day was actually 10th May, 2009 and Tasly VIPs, Tasly employees and Distributors from all over the world were gathering in the premises of the Headquarter on this particular day. The celebration started with the hoisting of the Tasly flag in honour of the achievements scored by Tasly in last 15 years. The Tasly Group President Dr. Yan made a remarkable speech to launch the 15th Anniversary celebrations. Then what followed was another ceremony for the new footprint inscription on Tasly Star Avenue. Here footprints of outstanding overseas and others distributors were added to the Star Avenue. This was a momentous occasion in recognition of the people who have contributed tremendously to Tasly. The awardees went away with souvenirs of footprints.

After the new footprint inscription ceremony, came the wonderful visits to the premises of the Headquarters, to appreciate what goes on in each department at the Headquarters. Every distributor appreciated the visit and the orientation by the member of staff at each department, especially when we consider the technology and commitment that goes into production of the Tasly products. Before we knew it, it was time to break off for lunch.

We were then engaged in a Leadership Seminar with Dr. Ravee from Malaysia spicing the Training after his Manager from Malaysia made a life changing presentation. Present also was International General manager Dr. Bill Dai who presented the certificates of attendance to the Distributors. During the leadership training, great emphasis was placed on team work, preparation in our Tasly businesses, importance of having a good attitude, commitment and clarity in the way we do our Tasly business as the only way we can succeed.

We also learnt that it was important to achieve our dreams by developing other people. Tasly provides the most beautiful platform for success for anyone willing to work hard and commit themselves in achieving their aspirations and dreams in life.

The climax of the celebrations was the ceremony after dinner in the evening. The ceremony was filled with pomp and splendour. Everyone was greeted with welcoming cheering in the crowd as they proceeded to take their seats. The Musicians and performances that took place added colour and variety to this important day in the History of Tasly.

President Yan made a speech that he was glad to witness the 15th Anniversary because the following day Tasly would start another page in unfolding its future. Several distributors among them overseas distributors were awarded for various achievements. The awarding of more cars to award winners also made the ceremony more interesting and more colourful.

Later in the evening, it was time for another dinner to meet President Yan and top distributors shared their experiences from different countries during this dinner. We thank all the top distributors for inspiring everyone to work hard.

Monday, the 11th of May was different in that it was reserved for sightseeing. We travelled to the Great Wall of China, which is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. In China, a Man is not considered man enough if they have not climbed the Great Wall. Distributors were excited and took photos at the Great wall even with other Tourists who had also come to climb the Great Wall.

After getting tired of climbing the great wall, Distributors went to shop around the city shopping Malls. The following day, the 12th of May, we went to the Bird s nest, which is the National Olympic Stadium, where we took photos of the wonderful scenario in the park at the stadium. Later in the evening was time to depart as our flight was in the evening of that day.

Moments when we depart are usually sad moments, but the feeling and excitement of having been part of the 15th Anniversary made a remarkable difference. We were departing in order to go home and do more business but also with a view to meeting again in future with more experiences to share.
