Shantui Experiment Center Officially Opens
October 31, the Experiment Center of Shantui Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. officially opened. Board Chairman of Shandong Heavy Industry Group Tan Xuguang and Director of CPC Jining municipal committee Sun Shougang revealed the nameplate of the Center. And Board Chairman Zhang Xiuwen presided the ceremony. About 100 persons attended the ceremony including Deputy Mayor Zhou Hong, company leaders and the scientific research staff.
Mr. Zhang Xiuwen made a speech at the ceremony, he said that in recent years, Shantui took the opportunities of the national policy of stimulating domestic demand in time and made great achievements with the constantly speed up of technical innovation and the improving of independent innovation capability. Especially when the Shandong Heavy Industry Group was established, the company invested more in the scientific research and set up the first-class R&D and Experiment Center, which ensured the leading position of Shantui s R&D work and provided strong support for the realization of the Group s strategic plan.
At the inauguration ceremony, all the participants studied Shantui s analysis and research on new technologies and the inspection analysis of machinery performance, and visited the Product analysis Center, the Chassis Drive Parts Lab, Intellectual Electric Control Lab, Hydraulics Lab, and Environment Lab, etc.
Composed of Intellectual Electric Control Lab , Hydraulics Lab , Drivetrain Lab , Turbine Systems Research Laboratory , Product Analysis Center , and Machinery Test Field , the Experiment Center can provide the R&D platform and a series of experimental methods, such as reverse analysis, benchmark product analysis, machinery performance analysis, etc. which wil make effective verification of key parts and the whole machine. At the meantime, the company aims to develop the power drive unit of advanced level in the country, with support from the Group s advantageous engine, drive parts and the whole resources. According to the plan, the first-class Comprehensive Drive Performance Lab , Crawler Chassis Lab , Structural Parts Lab , and Rational Measurement Center will also be built in the Experiment Center to establish complete new product experiment system. The finish of the first stage marks that the R&D level and methods of the company has entered a new phase, which will further promotes the realization of Shantui s strategic plan in 12th five-year plan period and make the vision of becoming an international construction machinery manufacturer come true early.
