Hunan Provincial Officials Visit CFMCC Project

An official delegation headed by Zhou Qiang, Secretary of CPC Hunan Provincial Committee & Chairman of the Standing Committee of National People s Congress of Hunan Province, conducted an inspection visit to the jobsite of 180 petroleum pipe production line of Hengyang Steel Pipe Plant on December 21, 2010. The project was contracted by Mechanical & Electrical Company of China First Metallurgical Construction Group Corporation (CFMCC Group). Leaders of Hengyang Municipal Government, inlcuding Zhang Wenxiong and Zhang Ziyin, accompanied Zhou during the visit.
Standing beside the Project Flow Chart on the site, Zhou Qiang was debriefed by chiefs of Hengyang Steel Pipe Plant and the Mechanical & Electrical Company of CFMCC Group on the project completion schedule, production capability, market and distribution of the products. He was very pleased to learn that, basing upon the continuously expanding output scale and scientific planning, Hengyang Steel Pipe Plant would spare no efforts to establish itself into one of the worldwide leading ventures.
Under the project, the Mechanical & Electrical Company of CFMCC Group was responsible for implementation of the civil works of A-H span of the main workshop; manufacturing and installation of steel structure of the main workshop; civil works, installation and commissioning work of the whole process from pipe billet to pre-finishing; as well as the trail run of the whole production line. The project was commenced on April 18, 2010, and is expected to be finished on October 30, 2011.
