On July 1 FAW Group held releasing ceremony for new car in Saradi castle ,Cairo. Two types of independent cars were launched into Egyptian market. More than 300 persons attended the ceremony including Wang Weidong, vice manager of oversea department ,Tianjin FAW Xiali Co. Ltd, Walid tafeik, president of Wamco Auto Corp. under Egyptian IDI Group., local agencys and customers.
It was said two types of independent cars were launched into Egyptian market by FAW Group. In order to meet the different requirement, Weizhi launched two types including hatchback and sedan.
Wang Weidong told presses that Egypt was important auto. market in Middle east area. Under the international finance economic crisis environment, we should provide proper products for Egyptian customers and made our Chinese auto set a good quality visualize. Because FAW Group got into Egyptian market rather late , they estimated annual sales product reaching 1000 units in the first two year.
Walid tafeik said in releasing ceremony that they trust Chinese car including quality, model, service and sales. FAW products had gone through car exhibit , Chinese market and becoming mature product. Egypyian Corp. would carry FAW products to occupy 50% sales quantity among Chinese procuct in Egyptian market.
