Chairman Liu attended CFIA fellowship

October, 17, the 5th Council the 4th session of the 6th enterprise fellowship of China Feed Industry Association was held in Nanchang. Board chairman of Tongwei Group, Mr. Liu Hanyuan and officials from Ministry of Agriculture, China Feed Industry Association, Jiangxi provincial government, as well as over 400 experts from the sector were present at the fellowship.

The fellowship took Ten Years Review, Ten Years Prospect as its theme. Deputy Minister of agriculture, Mr. Gao Yanbin, and CFIA Chairman Bai Meiqing made keynote speeches.

Mr. Gao said, China s feed industry has endured a lot of tests during the past ten years. Its expanding scale and improving quality has made irreplaceable contributions to Sannong issue (Farmers, rural areas, and agriculture production). The next 10 years will be a decade full of challenges and opportunities. We must make scenario-based plans, and attach great importance to bottleneck of the industry, as well as food safety issue.

Chairman Bai also made a presentation of New Century s 10 years Review of China s Feed Industry and Thoughts on its Development Strategy. He said, we need to give rid of the old-fashioned industry development mode, turn the industry from energy-consuming into energy-saving and environmental-friendly. Furthermore, it is also crucial to build up the Four Systems, which is green eco-feed industry system, corporate organizational system that integrates large-medium-small enterprises and focuses on big enterprises, technical renovation system, as well as legal and policy support system.
