Ito Yokado quality supervisors visit Tongwei aquaculture base

October, 23, quality supervisors from Ito Yokado were invited to visit Tongwei s aquaculture breeding base by Tongwei aquaculture business unit.

The first visit was to Tongwei Aquaculture Science & Technology Park, which, as a crucial composing part of Tongwei State-level Enterprise Technology Center, undertakes a number of tasks, including scientific research, technology demonstration, technology transfer, achievement exhibition and communicating platform of technology. Currently, the Center is mainly engaged in aquatic animals nutrition and feed research, fish genetic engineering project research, fish disease prevention and control technique research, microbiologics development, as well as complete modern fisheries facility and technology. During the visit, the supervisors marveled at the advanced equipment, and orderly work environment of fine breed fish culture area, industrialized fish farming workshop, grass carp gene research room and microalgae research room.

The next visit was to Tongwei Salmon Fish breeding base. Located in Dujiangyan, this base is the major research unit of coldwater fish project development in the Southwest, and the earliest to combine breeding of coldwater fish, salmon fish, trout, and rainbow trout with casual dinning services.
