Strength, indicating the rise of China
hen Mr. Manfred Wutzlhofer, the board chairman and CEO of IMM which is the entrepreneur of BAUMA, visited SANY's booth, he said, " We are exhausted to arrange space for Chinese exhibitors, especially the big area like SANY. We even block a passage for you."
In 2004, SANY first participated in BAUMA in Munich and had a good performance in the top industry exhibition. Three years later, SANY attends BAUMA again with an exhibition area of nearly 3000 square meters which is the biggest among Chinese enterprises. The entrepreneur of BAUMA also pays much attention to SANY to invite it to be the member of exhibitor consultation committee.
Before the exhibition, the board chairman of SANY Group Mr. Liang Wengen indicated that BAUMA is the platform for the actual competition among enterprises. SANY's exhibits include concrete pump machinery, road machinery, excavator, hoisting machinery, pile drilling machinery and harbor machinery, totally 19 machineries of 6 series. Among them, 66 meters truck-mounted concrete pump, 150 tons crawler crane, SM250 rotary drilling rig and reach stacker are the first time to be exhibited outside China. The 66 meters truck-mounted concrete pump is undoubtedly the super star of SANY booth, and lots of international counterparts came to view and emulate it for many times during the exhibition. Through SANY, they had realized a new international image of Chinese construction machinery.
Splendid, catching eyes of the world
Grand Booth-SANY invested greatly on this time exhibition. The main building of the booth reached to 600 square meters. All the exhibits were laid rationally to make the 66 meters truck-mounted concrete pump as the center. The booth design was also marvelous, which characterized by classic barrier, traditional rosewood desks, unique palace lantern, exquisite woodcarving and Hunan embroidery. Customers were very interested to SANY's booth and took photos to record these one after another. In 7 days' exhibition, SANY received numerous audiences.
Excellent AD-SANY obtained very good advertising space in BAUMA 2007. At the main entrance of the hall, there were 6 striking advertising board of SANY, which presented SANY's concrete pump, asphalt paver, motor grader, excavator, rotary drilling rig and crawler crane. All visitors could view SANY's advertisement.
International Hostess- In order to receiving customers from all over the world effectively, SANY employed international hostess team in this time exhibition. Among 18 hostesses, half of them are foreigners and could speak more than two languages. Every visitors of SANY were very satisfied with these laborious and professional hostesses.
New Website- SANY rebuild its website in 6 languages including Chinese, English, French, Germany, Russian and Spanish to promote SANY;s participation of BAUMA 2007. Trough the new website, visitors could find out the information of SANY and its products. They could also experience excellent quality of products by viewing the comprehensive parameters and attracting 3D video.
Media Promotion- As the leading company of Chinese construction machinery, lots of famous medias came to visit and report SANY's booth. The Phoenix TV dispatched journalists to Munich from Paris to make an exclusive report for SANY. International famous medias including WORLD HIGHWAYS, Bau Magazine, HBT Radiomatic, Quarrysell.com and many industrial medias of China had made all-round report about SANY's products, investment and development etc.
Comparison, seeking development space
SANY organized a delegation of over 100 people to visit BAUMA 2007 to acquire new industrial information, and introduce the advanced technology and experience overseas. The members of the delegation included board chairman, general managers of branch companies, directors of academies even the workers.

At the first day of the exhibition, Mr. Liang Wengen leaded the SANY's superiors to visit some international companies' booth like CAT, LIEBHARR, PUTZMEISTER, JCB, CASE, SCHWING, KOMATSU and VOLVO aiming at researching their new products, technologies and manufacturing techniques. Standing before 1350 tons crawler crane and 1200 tons truck crane of LIEBHARR, Mr. Liang indicated that SANY had already been the leading company in China, however we had lots of thing to do in overseas market
Meanwhile, many international companies showed great interest in cooperation with SANY. The company's leaders such as Mr. Liang Wengen, Mr. Tang Xiuguo, Mr. Xiang Wenbo and Mr. Zhou Fugui had a pleasant meeting with directors from CATERPILLAR, the top construction machinery company in the world. Superior leaders of some components' suppliers like BENZ, VOLVO, SCANIA, ZF etc. also paid a scheduled visit to SANY.
Mr. Zhou Fugui, the vice president of SANY Group, indicated that compared with world top 500 enterprises, SANY had a long way to go. However, through BAUMA 2007, we had realized the development trend of international construction machinery. Firstly, super equipments and mini-equipments were developing fast. Secondly, the market of excavators, truck cranes and crawler cranes were very well. Thirdly, the refined manufacturing technique of famous companies was deserved us to study. At the same time, Mr. Zhou said optimistically " Our annual sales accounted for 1% of the total sales of global construction machinery products, which means there were a big market for us to explore."

BAUMA 2007 was also a practice opportunity for SANY's international marketing team. From 23rd to 29th, there were over 50 thousand customers visit SANY. Customers from Germany, France, Algeria, Ghana and Russia bought 17 exhibits during the exhibition. To international branch companies of SANY, it is also a successful exhibition, especially European Company who sent totally over 20 salesmen together with Germany dealer BODO Company. The European company received more than 1000 effective customers in the exhibition.
With the overall application of"Eleventh Five-year Plan" and increase of international market demand, SANY quicken its internationalized pace. At present, SANY Group sets up 12 branch companies overseas to cover more than 130 countries. To the end of 2007, SANY would own offices in more than 100 countries.
