SANY's crawler cranes joining the construction of nuclear power station

Recently, Shanghai SANY Technology Co.,Ltd. signed a contract of developing crawler cranes with Guangdong Power Engineering Corporation. The cooperation project means that SANY Technology would reach a new height on the basis of developing 900 tons crawler cranes.
Guangdong Power Engineering Corporation is the power engineering contractor approved by China Construction Ministry. It purchased two SANY's 400 tons crawler cranes in 2006. At present, the company's general manager, Liu Chengye and his fellows visited SANY Industrial Park in Shanghai to make an investigation on crawler cranes' safety, manufacture, electric control system, hydraulic system etc. During his visit, Mr. Liu signed a purchasing contract of SANY's SCC9000 crawler cranes that would be used on the construction of nuclear power stations. At the same time, both parties made an agreement of joint developing super crawler cranes.
It is reported that the joint developing agreement of super crawler cranes above 1600 tons amounts to more than a hundred million RMB. This project would change the monopoly of foreign super crawler crane in Chinese market.
