Experts from Invest Beijing International (IBI) was invited to European Chamber breakfast seminar on Jan. 23rd, 2007 and made a presentation on the topic Tendering and Bidding Related Information .
Organized jointly by Public Procurement Working Group and SME Working Group of European Chamber, this seminar attracted 48 delegates from various European enterprises and institutes such as, Delegation of the European Commission, Deutsche Bank, Norddeutsche Landesbank, Vestas Wind Systm A/S, Thomas International, ChinaSolution and so on.
This seminar focused on dealing with difficulties encountered by European enterprises in tendering and bidding activities in China. Mr. Gilber Van Kerckhove, Chairperson of Public Procurement Working Group addressed the seminar on Beijing s modernization opportunities for European SMEs. After that, Mr. Zhang Ruijie, Director of International Business Department of IBI, and Mr. Zhang Bin from Investment Department respectively briefed on IBI s functions and service scopes, and shared with the participates the information related to tendering and bidding in China.
Through the seminar, participating companies were further informed of the bidding and tendering policies, rules and procedures in China, expressed their expectation to work further with IBI.
