Opening Ceremony for International Students Held
On the afternoon of March 15, the opening
ceremony for international students took place. Dr. Wen Shubin,
Vice Director of the International College chaired the ceremony,
which was attended by teachers, international students and
faculty members of the International College.
Since 1998, Zhaoqing University (ZQU) has hosted over 200
overseas students, sent some 120 students to study and more than
20 faculty members to work in foreign countries. Currently eight
international students study in ZQU. Among them, two are from
Anoka Ramsey Community College in Minnesota, USA, a long-time
partner institute; one is an exchange student from Himeiji
Dokkyo University in Japan; and others are respectively from the
UK, Japan and Korea.
