Our School s international Students Visiting Danxia Mountain

For the aim of letting them know more about Chinese culture, Our school organized all the international students to have a visit to Danxia Mountain, a geo-park in Shaoguan City on September 18th,.
There, in Danxia Mountain, selected as the geo-park of the world by UNESCO (United Nations Educational Scientific and Culture Organization), the international students, with high spirit and strenuous effort had finally reached the main peak of Danxia mountain under the lead of their teachers and the tour guide. Having had a full view of the fantastic geological formation, they developed a love for Chinese culture.
While sightseeing, the students raised a variety of questions and showed great interests in the geographic and cultural features of Danxia Mountain. Their teachers and tour guide, on the other hand, explained to them that how extensive and profound Chinese culture would be by answering such questions.
Such kind of visit to Danxia Mountain was not only an extension to the Chinese language course of our school, but also a good try for the international students to enlarge their knowledge on Chinese geography and culture. On the basis of their good command of Chinese language, such kind of activity enabled them to have a certain knowledge of the cultural background of China.
