Results of 2010 National English Contest for College Students (Preliminary), Huizhou University

On the morning of 11th April, 2010 National English Contest for College Students (Preliminary) was held at Huizhou University. A total of 1564 students took the exam. Our college undertakes three different levels of contest for different levels of students, including Level B for English major students, Level C for non-English major students and Level D forsports and arts students. Among them, 81 students won a prize in the Preliminary. There are two first-prize winners, six second-prize winners and 11 third-prize winnersfor Level B students. There are six first-prize winners, 18 second-prize winners and 36 third-prize winners for Level C students. There is a third-prize winner for Level D students.

The students who won a first prize will have the opportunity to take part in the 2010 National English Contest for College Students (Finals), which is going to be held at the Guangdong University of Business Studies on the morning of 9th May.
