On the morning of November 28th, an academic forum on Globalization and Chinese Cultural Development was hosted by both Beijing Social Science Association and our university in the lecture room of the International Culture Building of CNU. Many leaders attended the forum, including the director of the College Social Science Development & research Center of the Ministry of Education Feng Gang, the vice minister of Beijing Municipal Propagandistic Department Chang Wei, the secretary of the Party Group of Beijing Federation of Social Science Circles Shi Qiuqiu and the deputy secretary Chen Zhichang, the president of our university Liu Xincheng, and the head of the Theoretical Section of Beijing Municipal Propagandistic Department Cui Xinjian, etc.
. The opening ceremony of this forum was chaired by Cheng Zhichang. Shi Qiuqiu and Liu Xincheng addressed the forum on behalf of both sponsors respectively and Feng Gang made a speech.
The study on the issue of Globalization and Contemporary Chinese Cultural Development not only is advanced in the international academic and in prospective in practice, but also changes the research paradigm of the current humanity and social science in certain sense. In this forum, some experts and scholars shared their latest research resulst about this issue. The collision and exchange of these theories and ideas not only serve as a way to explore and reflect on the theory of the globalization and cultural development, but also provide some useful thoughts and references to the construction and development of Chinese culture.
