The first injured quake survivor received by 1st Affiliated Hospital
On the afternoon of 20th May, 36 injured quake survivors were transferred by air to Guangzhou for medical treatment. The first affiliated hospital of our university received Yue Qiang, a 13-year-old boy who has been badly injured in the quake.
Will there be earthquake in Guangzhou was the first sentence he uttered when he saw the doctors and nurses waiting in the airport.
At 18:26, Yu Qiang arrived at the 1st affiliated university. A medical group consisted of experts from orthopedics, ICU, neurosurgery, surgery, department of anesthesiology, etc held a consultation and implemented detailed strategy for treatment.
