Dr.Zhou Peng Won The Young Scientist Award of IUFoST

Lately, the International Union of Food Science and Technology (IUFoST) presented the 2010 Young Scientist Award to Dr. Zhou Peng, an associate professor of National Key Lab of Jiangnan University (JU).

IUFoST, which aims to promote the advancement of global food science and technology, education and exchange programs, is an international learned society composed of members from 65 countries. The Young Scientist Award recognizes an individual in the initial phases of her/his career for the potential to make outstanding scientific contributions to the field of food science and technology and the potential for future scientific leadership. In the hope of promoting creative research and scientific exploration of global food science and technology, IUFoST honors a young scientist who specializes in food science and technology once every year.

At the joint sponsorship of National Natural Science Foundation of China, Fok Ying Tong Education Foundation and scientific research plan of JU, Dr. Zhou Peng s research turned out to be a resounding success.
