On September 23, 2007, Harbin Institute of Technology held 'Rhythm of Youth' chorus to greet 17th People s congress conference.
In the afternoon, 2400 students from 19 colleges got together at the university gymnasium. 14 teams in all attended the cantata and performed well. Most colleges have much creativity in their performance and all the 14 items are very passionate and got rather warm atmosphere on the spot.
At last, three teams got the golden medal and five teams got the silver medals, six teams got the third prize. Also, the competition set seven special prizes for example 'the most welcome prize'.
Some honored guests gave excellent comments on all the teams and thought highly of our students. Board director Cui guolan of our university awarded the golden medals to the three teams. The chorus ended successfully with warm applauds.
