Successful Conclusion of Receiving Freshmen at TUT

At 8:00 p.m. on September 14, with the arrival and enrollment of the last group of freshmen, TUT rounded off the work of receiving freshmen of 2010. According to the overall arrangement, the receiving work lasted for two days with the total of about 10,000 students being enrolled in TUT, which turned out to be the biggest number of freshmen in TUT history.

The leadership of TUT Yao Zhilou, Zhang Wendong, An Chuanjin, Zhang Huiyuan, Wang Xiuzhen, Hao Jiangong, Xv Bingshe, Lv Ming, Li Jinping and others visited the onsite enrollment on Yingxi Campus, Huyu Campus, and Changfeng Campus respectively, and drove to Taiyuan train station to give cordial regards to the volunteers from TUT for the responsibility of greeting the freshmen. Meanwhile, TUT Party Committee Secretary Yao Zhilou and President Zhang Wendong expressed their warm welcome and thanks to the parents of freshmen. They hope students, with the joint efforts of TUT and students parents will develop into pillars of the nation. It was promised that students would be cared for and well-guided to get accustomed to the new life on TUT campus.
