Students of NENU Win Awards in National College Intelligent Automobile Contest

Recently, two representative teams of NENU have won awards in the final of the 5th "Freescale Cup" National College Intelligent Automobile Contest after gaining the first prize in the northeastern division respectively. These two teams were instructed by teachers from School of Physics in NENU, namely Wang Lianming, Chen Caiyun, Jiang Fengyi and Zhang Wenjuan.

"NENU Electron Team 3" formed by undergraduates Wang Taorui and Xie Rengui got the first prize in the photoelectric group. "NENU Electron Team 2" by undergraduates Li Xuefeng and Jian Gang got the second prize in the electromagnetism group.

This year's contest was held in Hangzhou University of Electronic Science and Technology. Altogether 180 teams from 100 colleges and universities nationwide have reached the final after the tryouts in sub-contest areas.
