Recently, the awarding ceremony for the first "Xia Qing" Cup Recital Competition was held in Beijing. It was named after the renowned radio host Xia Qing and hosted by the Central People's Broadcasting Station and other organizations. NENU, the Alma Mater of Mr. Xia Qing, also sponsored this competition. Vice-president Zhang Zhiguo and the person in charge from the Alumni Association the School of Music and the School of Media Science attended the ceremony.
