On Dec 16th, the 15th Anniversary Celebration of CERNET Celebration was held in Tianjin. Over 800 representatives and scholars attended the meeting presided by Director Xie Huanzhong from the Department of Science and Technology of the Ministry of Education.
TUT won the Outstanding Contribution Prize of CERNET Construction . The ceremony was broadcasted live on the internet. Staff from the President s Office of TUT and responsible staff from the Network Technology Center attended the meeting.
