On April 21, in Qingze Yuan Garden on Yingxi Campus, Student Union organized about one thousand students to give the solemn and respectful memorial to the earthquake victims in Yushu, Qinghai.
During the mourning activity, all students were wearing white paper flowers to show their respect to the dead. In the meanwhile, a proposal was made to call upon all to work more diligently and to support the reconstruction of earth-hit area.
At the same time, students made one thousand paper cranes to express their good wishes for the people in Yushu.
