CafePress, the world's biggest destination for self-expression through merchandise and the leader in user generated commerce, and Operation Gratitude, a non-profit, volunteer organization that annually sends 100,000+ care packages to U.S. Military overseas, announce a project aimed to rejuvenate patriotic self-expression and show support for U.S. Service Members deployed in harm’s way. Through the release of chic, designer T-shirts, the CafePress promotion intends to breathe new life into Americana gear and benefit the bi-partisan efforts of Operation Gratitude.
In honor of the summer patriotic season, which includes Memorial Day and the Fourth of July, CafePress unveils two unique designs by Last Alliance Group of New York. The T-shirt designs celebrate the holidays in style. The “Remember” design highlights iconic emblems of freedom such as the U.S. flag, while the “Go 4th” design artistically brings fireworks to life. Both designs are available in sizes for men, women, children and infants on white, gray or navy, 100 percent cotton, T-shirts and spaghetti tanks. The two T-shirt designs are currently offered on CafePress, with a portion of proceeds from every sale benefiting Operation Gratitude.
“We experienced an incredible outpouring of patriotism on CafePress through the presidential election and the Inauguration. To celebrate this national pride, we wanted to provide a way for Americans to support a cause we all believe in,” comments CafePress Vice President of Marketing Amy Maniatis. “The T-shirts we’ve created express patriotic sentiments while also contributing to Operation Gratitude’s effort to send love from home to our Service Members overseas.”
“Patriotism is a powerful emotion that motivates much of the support and volunteerism Operation Gratitude receives and channels to the troops,” explained the non-profit organization’s founder Carolyn Blashek. “By partnering with CafePress, we’re able to engage American citizens all across the country to tap into their patriotic pride and provide them an avenue to express their appreciation and support to our U.S. heroes serving in harm’s way.”
