IFAI's Advanced Textiles Conference 2008, June 12-13 in Berlin, is an entrepreneur networking conference unveiling outstanding textile-reinforced materials and smart technologies.
The event is designed to bridge the gap between the U.S. and Europe technical textile industry through networking opportunities and high-caliber sessions.

Philips Design Director of Design-Led Innovation Clive vanHeerden (at right), and Body Architect for the Soft Technology program, Lucy McRae (below right), share market-ready textile innovations.
VanHeerden and McRae are leaders in program development and 'far-future' research initiatives aimed at identifying long-term systemic shifts and anticipating changes in future lifestyles.
Specific technological examples include the Probes project, Electronic Tattoo, Emotional Sensing Dresses and Sustainable Habitat 2020.
